Rotary Chassis and Chassis Magnets
Rotatable Earthing Couplings
For the construction of tanks, piping and related equipment
An effective ground connection to the workpiece is essential for perfect manual or automatic welding. Increasing demands on the quality of welded parts necessitate the use of specially developed current conduction elements. In most cases, this eliminates a common source of problems.
Current Couplings TYPE NKK
For current loads between 400 and 2000 A
For rotating workpieces, a current-coupled earth connection is the safest and best solution. This extremely robust, rotatable current conductor is built to withstand rough handling.
Clamp Head Chassis Pliers TYPE K2
For tank, steel and shipbuilding.
Suitable for use with existing NKK 800 or NKK 1200 for rotating workpieces
The strong screw body and brass head is a general purpose earth coupling.
The clamp head can be fixed to the existing coupling by axially to the rotational movement
radial rotational motion
or at any angle between these positions.
The body and the screw part are isolated from each other so that no arcing of the pliers and the material is possible.
Pipe Clamps TYPE PZ
For tank, steel and shipbuilding.
The shaft and nut in these clamps are insulated.
Welding current to prevent overheating or carbonization and to ensure a long service life.
Rotatable Magnetic Chassis Magnet
Ideal solution for tank construction and large diameter pipes…
Magnetic traverse TYPE NTF 1200
In conjunction with the current coupling type NKK, the magnetic traverse type NTF has proven its reliability for many years as a rotatable earthing coupling in tank construction. These devices are extremely robust, reliable and time-saving.
Magnetic traverse TYPE NTF 1200
Three powerful magnets mounted on and isolated from the welding current
a movable suspension, firmly attach the device to flat and dished tank heads
Up to a minimum radius of curvature of 1000 mm.
Nine spring-loaded, electrode-graded copper contacts ensure good current conduction to the workpiece.
Fast and easy to install
Strong magnets provide a firm grip
Copper contacts ensure good conduction of current Insulated magnets prevent the workpiece from burning.
Rotatable Earthing Couplings
For the construction of tanks and related equipment…
Magnetic Current Coupling TYPE HKK 600
The magnetic current coupling HKK 600 has been proving its reliability as a ground coupling in tank construction for many years.
This is a convenient, compact, rotating current transmission element with magnetic clamping device for flat and dished tank.
heads up to a maximum diameter of 2000 mm
and the minimum radius of curvature is 500 mm.
Spring and magnet insulation is well protected inside the device.
Three spring-loaded, electrode-graded copper contacts ensure good contact with the workpiece.
Reliable communication that is quick and easy to plug in
Strong magnet ensures reliable contact
Insulated magnet prevents scorching
Robust structure
Handle connection with bend protection and clamp connection protects the cable
Re-lubrication ensures long service life
Rotatable Earthing Couplings
for the construction of tanks, piping and related equipment
Compressed Current Coupling TYPE KS600
Rotatable earthing coupling with integrated clamping device for current loads of 600 A
min. 44 mm ID and tank shells of any diameter
with a maximum wall thickness of 30 mm
Robust structure
Quick and easy to assemble, good contact with the workpiece

Rotatable welding current transmission devices for machinery and fixtures
Current couplings TYPE NK2000 S1
For current loads between 400 and 2000 A
Easy assembly and robust design ensure permanent and extremely safe transmission of current.
Fixing is done with a DIN 913-10K set screw,
axially inserted between the existing coupling and
rotating machine component. The case must be secured against torsion on the right and left with a gap of approx. 2 mm to the terminal lug.
Flexible cables or braided copper strips recommended
for connection.
Depending on the application, the rotation speed under power load should not exceed 5 revolutions per minute.
The devices are supplied with lubrication nipples and must be relubricated as specified in the operating instructions.
Only special grease P 34 should be used for lubrication.
Manual grease gun filled with special grease P 34,
a nameplate with lubrication instructions as well as fitting and operating instructions is supplied.
Repairs must only be carried out by the manufacturer.
It is recommended to use an electronically controlled grease container, please see overleaf.
Rotatable welding current transmission devices for machinery and fixtures
Current couplings TYPE NK3002 S1
For 3000 and 4000 A current loads
The robust design ensures a permanent and extremely safe transmission of current.
The devices are designed for axial screw fixing to the face of a shaft. The hexagon socket screw is accessible when the rear plug is removed.
Type NKK. . . 1
Flexible cables or braided copper strips are recommended for connection. The torque bracket must have approximately 2 mm clearance to the bolts provided on the chassis. In no case should the case be bolted tightly.
Depending on the application, the rotation speed under power load should not exceed 5 revolutions per minute.
The devices are supplied with lubrication nipples and must be relubricated as specified in the instruction manual.
Only special grease P 34 should be used for lubrication.
